Welcome parents and students to Joseph Gould P.S.! We are looking forward to meeting all of our families!
At Joseph Gould, we have high expectations for all staff and students. We believe that all students are capable, and offer many strategies to assist students in high achievement. We offer extra time and support academically to all students, and, in the case of at risk students, this extra time and support is not an option.
We advocate that all students are capable of respectful and appropriate behaviour at all times and will have students do an assignment or task over, and better, if we believe that it is not their best work or behaviour.
We will teach students the importance of appropriate, respectful behaviour. We will observe their behaviour and correct inappropriate behaviour in collaboration with the home and community. We will offer extra time and instruct students who need extra support.
Notices of special events and newsletters will be sent home on Wednesdays.
To keep the lines of communication open, we encourage parents to contact their child’s teacher at any time through the use of this agenda. With the home and school partnership we will achieve our mission. We look forward to a rewarding year.
